The Local Health Board of Mariveles headed by Mayor AJ Concepcion convened to tackle Covid 19 updates, TB case rate, and other health concerns in the municipality.

The meeting a week ago was the first for the local health board for this year.

Implementation of resolutions and ordinances on health adopted by Sangguniang Bayan to help improve the health of Mariveles residents was also discussed.

Councilor Ivan Ricafrente chairman of SB Committee on Health led the discussion of the legislative measures at the meeting.

The health board meeting was also attended by Municipal Administrator Tito Catipon, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Gerald Sebastian, MMWGH Medical Chief Dra. Lourdes Evangelista, MDH Chief of Hospital Dr. Hector Santos, and rural health physicians among others.

The Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia fully backs the health initiative of Concepcion.

“Patatagin ang sektor ng kalusugan para sa mas malakas, mas matibay, at mas ligtas na pamilyang Mariveleno”, the mayor vowed.
